Welcome Coaches!
We would like to thank you for volunteering to coach for Roxbury Softball Association. Without volunteers like you, our program, and the children who look forward to playing, would not have the success that we have shared in past years. RSA's goal is to teach the game of softball to all of our players and we look upon our coaches in order to achieve that objective. Therefore, we have an obligation to start the teaching process by giving our coaches the necessary tools and information that will help them be great teachers, not just of softball, but of fair play and sportsmanship. This will only strengthen our organization by providing an enjoyable learning experience that will encourage the players to return each year to expand on their softball experience.
RSA requires ALL Coaches to be Rutgers Certified. If you are not Rutgers certified, please check back to our website for updated dates. The Rutgers Class is offered for free to all Roxbury residents and is held at the Rec Center at Horseshoe Lake.
RSA will also be offering coaching clinics for all coaches before the season begins. Attending a Coaches Clinic is strongly recommended for all head coaches and assistant coaches.
